The essence of my work rises from the idea of sublimation, whereby basic human impulses are channeled into a form of welcomed cultural expression. While the meaning of my art is multifaceted, the approach to it remains intuitive and organic. Important themes include growth, decay, ambiguity and positive/negative relationships manifested through elements of structure, pattern, texture and the use of the vessel. I hope the presence of my art fosters an awakening and activation of spirit.
